The AMH gallery is located on the first floor can accommodate approximately 40-50 people. There is approximately 55’ of wall space for exhibitions, plus an additional 9’ with some interruptions. Also, located on the first floor are a full-size kitchen, bathroom, and access to the deck and backyard garden.

Gallery Rates

$400/week for exhibitions (A week equals: Exhibit installed on Thursday; Reception on Friday up to 10pm, and work must be down by the following Wednesday.)

$125/half-day, $225/day for meeting space

Gallery Hours: M-F 11-6pm; extended to 10pm for opening reception.  Other times can be accommodated for an additional fee.

For exhibition consideration please send us 10-12 samples of your work in slide or digital format (300dpi) and a letter of intent. The Art + Media House does not provide insurance for works that may be lost or damaged.  

 

Artist Responsibilities

•      Installation, regular maintenance, and de-installation of work.  
•      AMH staff will review approved hanging methods and materials to maintain condition of gallery walls. 
•      Artist can touch up wall paint if necessary.
•      Setting gallery hours and covering the gallery during the hours that it is open for public viewing.
•      Developing marketing materials. The AMH can disseminate information electronically at artist request.
•      Hosting opening reception for the general public.
•      Artist talk or demonstration for AMH youth.
•      Receive approval if the kitchen or backyard spaces will be utilized during the exhibition dates.
•      Securing the AMH facility. The public is allowed only on the first floor gallery level of AMH.
•      Return gallery space to original condition at conclusion of exhibition.
